Before you start
The ProVide admin GUI includes two themes: a light theme (default) and a dark theme. Switching between them takes one click, requires no restart, and does not affect any server settings, services, or active connections – it only changes how the interface looks.
You will need:
- A ProVide Server installation (any license tier).
- Access to the ProVide admin GUI.
Switch from light mode to dark mode #
On each server that will act as a ProVide node:
- Log in to the ProVide admin GUI.
- Look at the top-right corner of the window, next to the Help menu.
- Click the theme icon (shown as a moon in light mode, a sun in dark mode).
- The entire interface -menus, windows, dialogs, and toolbars – switches to dark mode instantly
Switch back to light mode #
Click the same theme icon again. The GUI returns to light mode immediately. You can switch between light mode and dark mode as often as you like.
**Your choice is remembered.** The theme setting is saved per browser, so the GUI opens in your chosen mode the next time you log in. Colleagues using other browsers or computers can keep their own preference.
**Note:** The theme switch is purely visual. All functionality, settings, and keyboard shortcuts work identically in both light and dark mode.
