If you’re experiencing issues with hidden icons in the ProVide admin interface when accessing it from the local host using the server URL. the following steps can help resolve the issue:
Resolution Steps:
Install Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Chrome. (Recommended step)
The issue is most likely caused by Windows Server utilizing Internet Explorer, an outdated browser not supported in many instances. We recommend installing either Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Chrome to access the administration interface.
If you still wish to proceed with Internet Explorer, please follow the steps outlined below:
Open Internet Explorer:
Launch Internet Explorer on the Windows Server where ProVide is installed.
Access Internet Options:
Navigate to the “Internet Options” menu. You can usually find this in the Settings or Tools menu of Internet Explorer.
Navigate to Security Settings:
Go to the “Security” tab within the Internet Options menu.
Add URL to Trusted Sites:
Add the URL of the ProVide admin interface to the list of trusted sites. This can be done by clicking on the “Trusted Sites” icon and then clicking on the “Sites” button. Enter the URL of the ProVide admin interface and click “Add”.
Adjust Security Level:
Optionally, you may need to adjust the security level for the Trusted Sites zone to allow the display of icons.
Apply Changes:
After adding the URL to the trusted sites list, click “Apply” and then “OK” to save the changes.
Refresh Admin Interface:
Refresh the ProVide admin interface in Internet Explorer to see if the icons are now visible.
