ProVide supports site-to-site (FXP) transfers, which an administrator can enable. Site-to-site transfers let two FTP servers send files directly to each other, without the data first passing through the client. This is useful for moving files between servers efficiently, since the transfer happens directly server-to-server rather than being routed through your own connection.
An administrator enables FXP in the ProVide administration interface. Because site-to-site transfers can be misused if left open, FXP is controlled by the admin and should only be enabled when you specifically need direct server-to-server transfers
