With ProVide it’s easy to share files with friends and co-workers securely using HTTPS URL links. Select a file to create a download link, or select a folder to create an upload link, then send the link to whoever needs access. They don’t even need an account on the server.

Sharing a file #
Select the file you want to share and click Share, and you’ve created a download link. Send it to a co-worker or friend, and they can download the file in any browser on any platform, no special client software required.
Receiving a file #
Receiving works the same way: select the folder and click Receive. The link opens an upload page where others can send files to you. You no longer need to attach large files to email or rely on external services like Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive to distribute or collect files.
Because everything runs over HTTPS, all transfers are automatically encrypted. For extra security, you can set a time limit or expiration date on any sharing or receiving link.
Integrated with user settings and scripting #
Sharing and receiving are seamlessly tied into user settings and trigger the appropriate events for use with proactive and reactive scripts. Download and upload quotas are handled automatically by the server, and you can, for example, use scripts to run virus checks on files uploaded through receiving links.
To access the HTTP settings, log in to the web-based admin interface with an account that has admin privileges, then click HTTP in the top menu.
