Very likely, yes. The ProVide user interface is available in ten languages: Swedish, English, Chinese (Mandarin), Traditional Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Thai, and Turkish. Each user picks their own language from the cog-wheel icon in the web interface, so different people on the same server can each work in the language they prefer, including on collaboration links.
If your language is on that list, you’re set. And because ProVide has full UTF-8 support on every platform it runs on, you can name files and folders in any language and script, even if the interface itself isn’t translated into it.
If your language isn’t listed #
Contact us and let us know which language you need. We add interface languages over time and are glad to look at new ones based on customer demand.
A note on the admin interface #
The user interface is translated into the ten languages above, but the administration interface and installer are in English only. We recommend running the host server in English as a rule, because troubleshooting information for Windows, Active Directory, and related components is much easier to find in English.
